Paul Finney has announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4. He will be seeking the Republican nomination. He is seeking the position currently held by Judge Steven McIntyre. Finney's experience includes over 10 years Law Enforcement where he recieved over 1500 hrs of State approved training. He has worked for several agencies including Polk County Sheriff's Office, City of Corrigan Police Department and San Jacinto County Sheriffs Office. In addition to his extensive training, Finney has also practical applied experience in civil and criminal courtroom procedures. Finney recently trained with TPSA and obtained his Process Servers Certification. Finney feels with his experience in Law Enforcement, along with his years of training gives him insight to the demands of the position. "I realize this is a demanding job and it is one I am looking forward to have an opportunity to serve the people of Precinct 4. The position of Justice of the Peace is an important part of our local Government and, if given the chance, I will work diligently to serve and earn your support." Paul has lived in Polk County since he was 12 years old and is proud to call Livingston his home. Paul is married to Wendy and has four daughters Courtney, Tiffany, Cheyenne and Ariel as well as two step sons Dylan and Shane.
