Intoxicated Driver Rolls Car, LIVINGSTON, December 4, 2010 - Late Friday night a silver Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Michael Wayne Flores, 45, of Livingston, attempted a turn off of FM-3126 to FM-3277 near Lake Livingston Village and rolled his vehicle. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and DPS Troopers Rocky Thigpen and Ramey Bass. It was determined that Flores was intoxicated after Trooper Thigpen conducted a field sobriety test on Flores. Flores was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance to be checked out. After Flores was okayed to be released, Trooper Thigpen and Sergeant Christian Schanmier with the Polk County Sheriff's Office placed Flores under arrest and drove him to Polk County Jail where he was booked in and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with an invalid driver's license, and no insurance. Flores' vehicle was recovered by Harwood Wrecker Service and will be stored at 101 Harwood Drive in Livingston.
