Officer Adam Williford with Livingston PD, stopped this 2007 Dodge pickup in the 1400 block of North Houston.
Driver Facing Multiple Felony Charges, LIVINGSTON, October 8. 2015 -  At approximately 6:30 pm on October 7, 2015, Officer Adam Williford with Livingston Police Department, was patrolling on North Houston Street (US-146) in the 1400 block when he spotted a gray 2007 Dodge pickup driven by Brandon Glen Lummus, 46, of Kirbyville.  Lummus was driving erratically when Williford spotted the north-bound pickup.  Officer Williford initiated traffic stop in the parking lot of the Senior Center  Lummus appeared heavily intoxicated.  Officer Williford was quickly backed up by Sergeants Chard Ward, Ronnie Bogany, and Officer Jason Thomas, all with Livingston PD.  Williford attempted to place Lummus under arrest, but Lummus decided to resist.  Lummus reportedly kicked both Williford and Officer Jason Thomas.  They managed to get him into the back of a patrol unit.  Lummus began to kick the door of the patrol unit.  Lummus was charged with felony charges including, driving while intoxicated (3rd or more), assaulting a police officer (2 counts) and a list of other charges.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Lummus' vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

Due to his erratic behaviour, Americare Ambulance Service was disptched to the scene to check out 46 year old Brandon Lummus who was nothing more than drunk.
Lummus used colorful gestures and language for the PolkCountyToday.com camera.
Lummus' vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
