32 year old Rashad Elliott of Channelview was allegedly witnessed throwing away this baggie of crack cocaine (4 rocks).
Intoxicated Driver in Possession of Crack Cocaine, LIVINGSTON, October 6, 2012 - At around 11:55 pm on October 5, 2012, reports came in to the Polk County Sheriff's Office to report a possible intoxicated driver.  The driver was reportedly north-bound on US-146 and driving all over the road and into ocoming traffic.  Sergeant Christian Schanmier with the Sheriff's Office was near the area and found the vehicle suddenly stopped on the shoulder of US-146.  Schanmier observed that the driver got out and threw something in the grass off the shoulder of the road.  Trooper Chris Cain quickly arrived and located a baggie with 4 rocks of crack cocaine.  The driver (Rashad Elliott, 32, of Channelview) was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated (second DWI) and possession of a controlled substance (felony).  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Elliott's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
