46 year old Shawn Kevin Oconnor was placed under arrest by Trooper Kevin Burman.
Driver Wrecks Truck Off Scenic Loop, Charged With Felony DWI, SCENIC LOOP, June 2, 2012 - At around 5:30 pm on June 2, 2012, a tan Chevy S10 driven by Shawn Kevin Oconnor, 46, of Spring, was west-bound on Scenic Loop (4600 block).  Oconnor's vehicle left the pavement to the right and turned over on its side.  Passers by saw the distressed truck and driver and decided to help.  With Oconnor still buckled inside his truck two men turned the vehicle upright.  Oconnor attempted to drive out once he was turned upright but instead was stuck.  A call was placed to the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Deputy Mark Dubose with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Terri Mayer (also with Sheriff's Office) and Trooper Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Burman conducted a field sobriety test on Oconnor and after struggling to do anything correctly, Oconnor was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.  Oconnor has three prior convictions of DWI making this one a felony.  Burman transported Oconnor to Livingston Memorial Hospital for a mandatory blood withdrawal.  A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service recovered Oconnor's vehicle and it will be stored at 101 Harwood drive in Livingston.  The scene was cleared in about an hour.

Special thank you:  Ken from Ken's Towing

Oconnor managed to turn his Cevy truck on its side (note: damage to side of truck).
After 2 passers by helped Oconnor get his truck turned upright, Oconnor tried to drive away but got stuck.
Trooper Burman loaded Oconnor into a patrol unit to be transnported to jail.
Oconnor's vehicle was recovered by Big Jim Harwood.
