Tomball Man Arrested in Leggett for DWI, LEGGETT, May 23, 2008 - According to witnesses, at approximately 10:50 pm on May 23, 2008, the driver of a white 2008 Toyota Tacoma was weaving all over the road on Highway 59 southbound from Seven Oaks and headed towards Livingston. On no refusal weekend, when local law enforcement is out in force looking for intoxicated drivers, it only minutes and the driver, Brian Estes, 36, of Tomball, was pulled over by DPS Troopers at a small convenience store in Leggett, Texas. Estes was given a field sobriety test and hauled into to Polk County Jail for suspicion of driving while intoxicated. A total of 5 DPS Troopers converged on the scene. Troopers Robert Akers and Travis Richnow remained at the scene and investigated. Found in Estes' truck was an un-marked bottle of white pills that appeared to be pain-killers. Trooper Richnow loaded Estes into a patrol car and transported to him to Polk County Sheriff's Department where he was booked into jail.
