Corrigan Brother and Sister Arrested for Intoxication, SEVEN OAKS, April 12, 2015 - Shortly before 10 pm on April 12, 2015, Deputy Ricky Connor with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was north-bound on US-59. Connor spotted a north-bound yellow Jeep Wrangler that was driving erratically in the vicinity of Seven Oaks. Connor initiated a traffic stop and the driver, Brandon Patrick Murray, 35, of Corrigan pulled over into the rest stop in Seven Oaks. When Deputy Connor spoke with Murray, he suspected intoxication. Additionally, Murray's passenger (his sister) Andrea Andrade, 41, of Corrigan appeared intoxicated. Connor summoned Trooper Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol. Trooper Cain arrived and performed a field sobriety test on Brandon Murray and placed him under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Connor placed Andrea Andrade under arrest for public intoxication. The Jeep was recovered by Clifton Chevrolet and will be stored in Corrigan.
