Driver Arrested for DWI After Leaving the Road, SODA, March 6, 2019 - At approximately 11:15 pm on March 5, 2019, a gold 2015 Toyota Camry, driven by Michael Jason Anderson, 43, of Conroe, was east-bound on 190 East when his vehicle left the pavement to the right a short distance west of Soda Loop Road. Anderson's vehicle came to rest just short of striking a large tree. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Colton McQuilkin and Chris Cain of the Texas Highway Patrol. Anderson refused any kind of medical treatment. He admitted to have drinking prior to the accident. Anderson appeared to be heavily intoxicated and had vomited on himself. Trooper McQuilkin placed Anderson under arrest and charged him with driving while intoxicated. During a vehicle inventory, a baggy with a small amount of marijuana was found in Anderson's vehicle. Anderson's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

Anderson admitted to Trooper McQuilkin that he had been drinking prior to the accident.
McQuilkin checks Anderson for signs of intoxication.
Anderson was placed under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated.

During a vehicle inventory, a small amount of marijuana was found in Anderson's vehicle.
Anderson's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
