Man Arrested for DWI In Livingston, LIVINGSTON, February 20, 2008 - At approximately 4:30 pm on February 20, 2008 a Coldspring man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Pan American drive in Livingston. The man, Phillip Craig Peterson, 46, of Coldspring was taken into custody by Livingston Police Officer Leon Middleton. Witnesses who called in said Peterson was driving northbound in southbound lanes of traffic. According to witnesses, Peterson was driving a gray 1992 Mazda B2200 and tried to run over a woman, Christie C. McPhee, 54, of Naples, Texas. Peterson was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated assault, and driving with a suspended license. According to police, McPhee was also intoxicated and arrested for public intoxication. A rollback wrecker from Ugly Duck wrecker service showed up to haul away Peterson's truck.
