In 2018, Austin Michael Dury, of Livingston, was charged with injury to his 2 month old child that included brain bleeding and hyper-extended ligaments.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Alleged Child Abuser Who Wont Show Up for Court, LIVINGSTON, July 6, 2021 - An arrest warrant was issued for Austin Michael Drury, age 29, of Livingston in connection with a First Degree Felony indictment for Injury to a Child which is pending in the 258th District Court of Polk County. Judge Travis Kitchens revoked Drury’s $10,000 surety bond after Drury failed to appear for court settings on June 17, June 28 and again on July 1, 2021. This is the second bond forfeiture in Drury’s case. Earlier, in February of 2020, Kitchens revoked a personal recognizance bond he had set for Drury after prosecutors alleged that Drury tested positive for using methamphetamine and failed to report for scheduled meetings with the Polk County pretrial services officer. At that time, Kitchens set a $10,000 surety bond which Drury then made following his rearrest. In conjunction with the most recent arrest warrant for failing to appear for court, Kitchens set a new bond in the amount of $25,000 which Drury will be required to make if he is rearrested. Anyone with knowledge of Drury’s whereabouts should contact their local police or the Polk County Sheriff’s Department.
