The Scenic Loop and the Onalaska Volunteer Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene along with State Game Wardens Ryan Hall, David Johnson, and Brandon Mosley. After a lengthy search, Roy Patrick's body was recovered from the water. Alcohol is suspected. Russell Crantz was arrested and taken to Livingston Memorial Hospital for a mandatory blood withdrawal.
