Narcotics Detective, Vance Berry takes the issue of drugs and narcotics very seriously.
Routine Traffic Stop Leads to Another Drug Related Arrest, LIVINGSTON, October 31, 2011 - At approximately 5:45 pm on October 27, 2011, Narcotics Detective, Vance Berry, initiated a traffic stop on Washington Avenue in Livingston by GodTel Ministries. The vehicle was a white 2004 Ford Expedition driven by Douglas Aaron Davis, 22, of Livingston. When Berry talked to Davis, he became suspicious and gained consent to do a vehicle search. Detective Berry was soon joined by Captain John Sanders and Narcotics Detective Chris Lima. A vehicle search was fruitful as Detective Berry found nearly 4 grams of methamphetamine. Douglas Davis was placed under arrest and charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance. Davis' vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and was stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
