BUSTED
Two Drug Dealers Hauled Into the Big House

Ervin Demond Harrell, 29, of Goodrich
Domestic Disturbance Leads to the Arrest of Two Alleged Drug Dealers, GOODRICH, September 2, 2008 - At approximately 8:30 am on September 2, 2008 a call was placed to the Polk County Sheriff's Office in reference to a disturbance in Goodrich.  Deputy Glen Edwards was dispatched to investigate.  Constable Precinct 1 Charlie Clack and Deputy Chris Lima both proceeded to the location of the disturbance to backup Edwards.  Clack was the first one to arrive and found Christina G. Horton, 26, of Goodrich at the residence.  Horton stated that Ervin Demond Harrell, 29 of Goodrich was chasing her on foot and shooting at her.  Horton filed on Harrell for deadly conduct and discharge of a firearm.  Horton was driven to a safe location nearby and dropped off while Clack, Lima, and Edwards investigated.  Harrell had a camper trailer on G-Star road.  By now, information was obtained that Harell was wanted and had felony warrants out for his arrest and had a motion to revoke his probation for failure to pay child support, and a revocation of probation possession of a prohibited substance in a secured facility.  Upon entering the camper trailer, Clack noticed scales with marijuana residue on them.  Lima and Edwards left the scene to look for Harrell as Constable Clack secured the residence.  Deputy Lima located Harrell in a vehicle on Emanuel Road and 1988 and brought Harrell back to his residence.  Harrell gave consent to search the residence.  A small amount of marijuana was found.  The search led to a car (a blue Oldsmobile) where 9 baggies of marijuana and 24 rocks of crack cocaine were found all packaged for resale.
