Narcotics Detective Vance Berry found two syringes containing what is believed to be methamphetamine.
Traffic Violation Leads to Arrest for Possession, GOODRICH, August 19, 2011 - Shortly before 5 pm on August 18, 2011, Narcotics Investigator Vance Berry was on Patrol on US-59 South near FM-1988.  Berry spotted a red Ford F-150 that committed some kind of traffic violation.  Berry pulled the vehicle over near FM-1988 at Goodrich School.  Berry suspected contraband and received consent to do a vehicle search.  Constable Charlie Clack arrived to back up Detective Berry.  A search of the vehicle turned up a prescription pill bottle and two syringes.  Both syringes are suspected of containing methamphetamine.  The syringes were found in the purse of passenger Angelic Dalton, 31, of Livingston.  Dalton was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance.  The driver of the vehicle was cited for a traffic violation and was allowed to drive away.

Dalton was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Detective Berry issued the driver a traffic citation and allowed the diver to drive away (Constable Charlie Clack pictured at right).
