Livingston Z-Mart Busted for Selling Fake Weed, LIVINGSTON, August 19, 2010 - In a sting operation, local investigators moved in on Z-Mart located in Livingston, initiated a search, and recovered 52 grams of K2.  The substance, also known as fake weed, has been outlawed by the City of Livingston, meaning that it's illegal to sell fake weed within the city limits of Livingston.  On Wednesday August 18, 2010 at around 2 pm, investigators with the City of Livingston and the Polk County Sheriff's Office initiated a search of the premises and uncovered 52 grams of the substance.  Z-Mart manager Maaz Moonis was cited by the city of Livingston for breaking city ordinance, will have to appear in court, and faces up to a $2,000 fine.

PolkCountyToday.com first reported on the fake weed on June 29, 2010 in an investigative report that was intended to alert parents and locals about the now banned substance.  K2 has since been ruled illegal to sell within the city limits of Livingston.  A second offense by Z-Mart Manager Maaz Moonis could mean jail time.
