Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust, CORRIGAN, May 19, 2017 - At approximately 11 pm on May 17, 2017, officers with Corrigan Police Department stopped a vehicle on US-59 for a defective headlight. When the officers spoke with the occupants, Curvie Brinson, 58, of Center, and Terrence Deshon Williams, 26, of Houston, they noticed nervousness. The officers had the men step out of the vehicle for questioning. The officers were given permission to do a vehicle search. The search proved to be fruitful as they found a designer bag in the car that had two ziplock baggies inside. One ziplock baggy was filled with methamphetamine and the other was stuffed with marijuana. Both men were placed under arrest and are facing felony drug charges.
