Illegal Narcotics, Small Children Land 2 in Jail, LIVINGSTON, July 24, 2014 - On July 23, 2014 the Livingston Police Department received information of illegal narcotic sales from a residence located in the 1500 block of South Houston Avenue. Officers went to the location and made contact with the residents identified as Charles Lamar Bogany, 24, of Livingston and Kerry Bogany Johnson, 41, also of Livingston. While officers were advising Bogany and Johnson of the complaint they noticed a strong odor of marijuana filtering from the residence and were denied consent to enter the residence. A search warrant was then issued and a search of the residence was conducted. Officers recovered synthetic marijuana, Ecstasy pills and Hydrocodone.
The Ecstasy pills and Hydrocodone were recovered on the floor in the area where a small child was located. Due to access the child had to the Controlled Substance Bogany and Johnson were both charged with Endangering a Child (State Jail Felony).
Charles Lamar Bogany was also charged with Possession Controlled Substance PG1 Drug Free Zone (Felony 3), Possession Controlled Substance PG3 Drug Free Zone (State Jail Felony). Lamar Bogany, and Kerry Bogany Johnson remain in Polk County Jail pending bond.
