Two Arrested for Marijuana at Shelter Cove, SCENIC LOOP, May 14, 2011 - At approximately 1:30 pm on May 13, 2011 an investigation led Deputy Mike Nettles to cabin number 4 in the Shelter Cove cabins located off FM-3277 on the Scenic Loop. Nettles conducted a search of the residence and was quickly joined by Deputy Mark Dubose. Nettles found marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the cabin including a large pipe for smoking marijuana and a bong. Daniel Marc Lavalley, 20, of Livingston and Cody Aaron Auterio, 18, also of Livingston, were both placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Nettles and Dubose escorted both (in cuffs) to a patrol unit and the two were driven to Polk County jail and booked in.
