Livingston Police cars at the Sands Motel located on North Washington in Livingston.
LPD Acts Quickly on Tips, Makes Small Drug Bust, LIVINGSTON, May 9, 2012 - At around 3 pm on May 9, 2012, the Livingston Police Department knocked on the door of room number 23 at the Sands Motel located on North Washington in Livingston.  Officers Chad Ward, Adam Williford, Kevin Ward, Sergeant Ronnie Bogany, Lieutenant Matt Parrish, and Lieutenant Mark Jones (Sheriff's Office) had converged on the scene.  They were acting on multiple tips that had been received within the hour regarding possible drug dealing going on from the room.  The room was occupied by Mark Jessie, 31, of Livingston.  The police officers conducted a search of the motel room and found an undisclosed amount of marijuana.  Jessie was cuffed and placed under arrest, driven to Polk County Jail, and charged with possession of marijuana.
