28 year old Wesley Frank Harrell, of Goodrich, was in possession of crack cocaine.
Traffic Stop, Driver in Possession of Crack Cocaine, LIVINGSTON, January 17, 2015 - Shortly before 5 pm on January 17, 2015, Officer Tito Reyes with Livingston Police Department spotted a brown 2002 GMC Envoy with a faulty brake light.  Reyes stopped the vehicle in a parking lot at South Houston (146) and Denham.  The driver, Wesley Frank Harrell, 28, of Goodrich was acting nervous.  Officer Reyes asked Harrell to step out of his vehicle.  Due to Harrell's nervousness, Reyes opted to pat him down (for officer safety).  During the pat down, a small baggie containing 4 crack cocaine rocks fell out of Harrell's pants leg.  Reyes was quickly joined by Officers Kaleb Barker and Brandon Brewer.  Officer Reyes utilized a field narcotics analysis kit and the rocks tested positive for cocaine.  Reyes placed Harrell under arrest for possession of a controlled substance (felony).  His vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
