Officer Branon Brewer with Livingston PD examines methamphetamine found the in the car of Joshua Hartman and Amber Stoerer, both of Livingston.
Couple Busted for Methamphetamine in Taco Bell Parking Lot, LIVINGSTON, January 3, 2015 - Shortly before 5 pm on January 3, 2015, Officer Brandon Brewer, with Livingston Police Department was dispatched to the parking lot of Livingston Taco Bell to check on a young passed out couple that were slumped over in the seat of their car. Officer Brewer arrived, and sure enough, there was a young couple in the car passed out. Brewer tapped on the window of the vehicle (an older model Chevy Cavalier), but the two wouldn't wake up. Brewer was soon joined by Officers Kaleb Barker, Tito Reyes and Sergeant Lewis Milner. Sergeant Milner used his vehicle's air horn (very loud) right by the car, but the couple wouldn't wake up. After a considerable bit more effort, they finally got the woman in the car, Amber Renee Stoerer, 26, of Livingston, to wake up. Stoerer then shook her driver, Joshua Dale Hartman, 21, of Livingston and got him to wake up. Brewer noticed there were syringes sitting in the car in plain view. Brewer asked for and got consent to do a vehicle search. The search was fruitful as the syringes contained methamphetamine, and a small baggy of crystal methamphetamine was also found. Both were placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance (felony). Their vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
Syringes and a small baggy, both containing methamphetamine were found in the vehicle.
Both Joshua Hartman and Amber Stoerer are facing felony charges.
