Traffic Stop Leads to Slew of Arrests for Drugs and Burglary, CORRIGAN, February 9, 2018 - On January 31, 2018 Detectives Christopher Lima and Dana Vanya of the Corrigan Police Department conducted a traffic stop that led to the discovery of methamphetamine, and marijuana. Additionally, there were multiple arrests of suspects believed to be involved in a burglary of a residence in Corrigan. During the interview, while speaking with the vehicle occupants, information was learned of a possible burglary of a residence which had occurred a few days earlier. Corrigan Police Chief, Darrell Gibson, was able to confirm the burglary after doing a check of the home located off of Highway 59 near FM-942. Chief Gibson found the door to the residence standing open after being broke into. Detectives and patrol officers began an extensive search of the surrounding pawn shops and were able to recover nearly all of the property taken during the commission of the crime. After obtaining a search warrant for the residence of one of the suspects, detectives found additional stolen property along with narcotics. Arrested and charged in connection with the crimes are the following suspects; Dillon Scroggins, 24, of Corrigan, Texas arrested for Burglary of Habitation a felony offense, and Tampering with Evidence a Felony offense. Bret Scroggins, 20, of Corrigan, Texas arrested for Burglary of Habitation. Donna Isaacks, 37, of Corrigan, Texas arrested for Possession Controlled Substance, Tampering with Evidence, and a felony warrant out of Texas Pardon and Parole. Garin Gesford, 30, of Corrigan, Texas arrested for Tampering with Evidence. Toni Cooper, 43, of Corrigan, Texas arrested for Possession of Marijuana. In addition to the above arrests, the Corrigan Police Department is actively seeking the whereabouts of Meagan Redding, 17, of Corrigan. Redding has an outstanding warrant for her arrest for burglary of a habitation in connection with the break in.
