John D. Clifton Selected as Polk Countian of the Year, LIVINGSTON, January 27, 2017 - The Polk County Chamber of Commerce Banquet and Awards Ceremony was held at the Polk County Commerce Center on Thursday night (January 26). Steak dinner was served as business owners, entrepreneurs, local dignitaries and other community leaders were on hand to see John D. Clifton receive the Polk Countian of the Year Award. Local businessman, Christopher Scottintroduced Clifton and read a brief history of Clifton's lifetime of service. Other awards were:

Veterans of Foreign War #8568 Honor Guard, Community Service
Thomas Mercantile, Business of the Year
The Williams Firm, PC, Business of the Year
Door prizes were handed out and a good time was had by all.
