Catfish King Casts a Positive Outlook in hopes to Reel In Business, LIVINGSTON, February 4, 2008 - According to Project Manager, Richard Kessler, of Great American Foods, Catfish King is on the comeback trail after last year's catastrophic fire that leveled one of Polk County's favorite seafood eateries. Catfish King was initially a restaurant called K'Bobs. According to Kessler, David Beard bought the establishment and turned it into Catfish King back in 1985. The foundation is laid, the building framing is up, the sign is up, and Kessler says that Catfish King should be opened again for business in around May of this year. "We're looking forward to opening up again and welcome the good people of Polk County to come back again!", Kessler said. The smell of a fish fry is always bound to lure in folks from around these parts.
