Arrest of Known Drug Dealer Leads to Arrest of 6 Others,One Military Deserter, LIVINGSTON, April 21, 2008 - According to Lieutenant Andy Lowrie, the arrest of a known drug dealer led to the arrest of 6 others. The arrests occurred in the Canyon Park subdivision of Polk County on April 18, 2008 at approximately noon time. Bruce Eaves was arrested for delivery of pain killers (hydrocodone pills) and during the arrest, deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Department found marijuana in Eaves' possession. Eaves was already out on bond for dealing drugs. The District Attorney's office is seeking no-bond at this time in an effort to keep Eaves behind bars. According to Lowrie, the arrest of Eaves led to the searches of 2 residences and the arrest of 6 others, and a seizure by the Sheriff's Department of one car, one motorcycle and a residence. The other six arrested were: Jerry Morris, Jeanette Morris, Jason Capps, Danielle Turbeville, Craven Turbeville, and Candace Hall.
Craven Turbeville was a deserter from the military and was AWOL (absent without leave) from the military and there was an active warrant out for his arrest from the military. Military officials have been contacted and they are coming to get Turbeville.
Bruce Eaves is a known drug dealer and was out on bond for deliveries of controlled substance when the arrest occurred.
Craven Turbeville was arrested for posession of marijuana and already had a military warrant out for his arrest for desertion.
