Alert Neighbors and Quick Reacting Deputy Catch a Burglar Red Handed, LIVINGSTON, June 5, 2010 - At approximately 4:30 pm on June 4, 2010, a call came in to the Polk County Sheriff's Office in reference to a Burglary in progress. Neighbors of a residence on Lynn Street in the subdivision Putnam's Landing reported seeing a burglar stealing things from their neighbors storage shed. Deputy Mark Dubose was dispatched and was on the scene in minutes where he found 44 year old Kenneth Ray Clark of Tomball helping himself to a homeowner's property after he had gained access to one of their 2 storage facilities, and was about to gain access to the second one. Clark allegedly borrowed a truck and was loading the truck with the someone else's belongings. Dubose immediately started an investigation. Dubose placed Clark under arrest and charged Clark with burglary. Clark was booked into Polk County Jail.
Dubose takes an inventory. The burglar, Kenneth Ray Clark, thought he would just load up this truck he borrowed and drive away. Dubose's quick response prevented Clark from being successful.
Deputy Dubose placed Clark under arrest and charged him with burglary.

Clark also allegedly tore this screen and opened the window on another storage building in an effort to gain access.
Kenneth Ray Clark, 45, of Tomball has been charged with burglary.
