Bulldogs Win in Low Scoring Affair, GARRISON, November 8, 2015 - The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs went to Garrison on Friday night (11/06/15) and beat the Garrison Bulldogs in a low scoring game.  Field conditions in Garrison were sloppy.  The rain soaked grass field made for a slippery, muddy, loose footed game.  The Dogs kicked off to Garrison to open the game.  Garrison was trying to drive the ball and fumbled it away in their opening series.  This was very crucial when you consider between both teams there was a total of three touchdowns scored.  The Dogs were able to capitalize on the fumble and score a touchdown.  LaKendrick Moore took a handoff and ran in a 2 yard touchdown to finish the drive.  The Dogs failed to convert on the 2 point conversion.  What made this night successful for the Dogs was their defensive line.  The Dogs would tee off on the Garrison quarterback for the entire evening.  The defensive line for the Dogs was absolutely relentless.  On Garrison's ensuing possession the Dog defense held.  With 2:58 remaining in the first quarter, Fra'Darion Johnson took a handoff and ran in a touchdown from 3 yards out.  Again, the Dogs failed to convert the 2 point conversion but had a 12 - 0 lead.  With 9:51 remaining in the second quarter, Garrison took a handoff and made it into the Dogs' defensive backfield.  The speedy running back took the ball 68 yards for a Garrison touchdown.  Garrison kicked the PAT and the dogs had a 12 - 7 lead.  This would conclude the evening's scoring.   The rest of the game was a defensive struggle that saw lots of fumbles, slips and slides.  Garrison committed the majority of the fumbles.  While the entire Corrigan-Camden defense did an amazing job, two standouts were the usual LaDarius Hamilton (55) and Javoris Brooks (51).  With the 12 - 7 victory, the Dogs will now face Trinity for a rematch of their non-district game earlier this season that the Tigers won.  The game is supposed to be in Woodville which is very nice.
