Bulldogs Start Season On Right Foot, CENTERVILLE, August 30, 2015 - The Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs went into Centerville on Friday night to face the Centerville Tigers. The Bulldogs were impressive. The first half of the game was a defensive struggle and ended in a 6 - 6 tie, but what was impressive about the Dogs was how they came out in the second half. It looks like the Dogs are coached well enough to make adjustments at halftime and come out in the second half and implement those changes, thus tilting the game in their favor. Making halftime adjustments is something that you see in the higher levels of football like college and the NFL, but for the coaches to be able to do that with young teenaged minds who have school work, and other things going on in their lives other than football is an impressive feat for Head Coach, Seven Armstrong and his staff.

FINAL SCORE: Dogs 30, Tigers 12
In the second half a very heavy dose of Malyk Johnson to grind out tough short yards for first downs ultimately doomed the Tigers. The Bulldog defense clamped down on the Tigers and held them to a mere 6 second half points. The combination of the Johnson on offense and Hamilton on defense slowly choked the life out of the Tigers.
While the Bulldogs no longer have the services of running back, Keegan Mitchell, Senior Malyk Johnson continues to be the same beastly running back that he was last year. With other talent coming up for Corrigan, and with Senior Quarterback, LaKendrick Moore seemingly more dangerous than last year, the Dogs don't seem to be missing a beat offensively. Keegan Mitchell has since moved on to the collegiate level of football.
Defensively speaking, LaDarius Hamilton is the heart and soul of the Bulldog defense. He was all over the field defensively for the Dogs and was in on many tackles and made a surplus of solo tackles. Hamilton is a high revving motor guy and is fun to watch.
Next game is Friday night in Groveton. As everyone knows, Groveton and Corrigan is a rivalry and is just right down the road from Bulldog Country.
