Big Sandy Returns Home with Serious Hardware, LIVINGSTON, June 8, 2017 - The Big Sandy Wild Cats varsity baseball team returned home on Thursday evening with full escorts including the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Livingston Fire Department (and an entourage of fans in tow). The Wild Cats knocked off Muenster 13 to 3 to take the UIL State 2A Baseball Championship. It was some sweet revenge for the Wild Cats as it was Muenster who knocked off the Wild Cats last year. It's not everyday that we get to see local state champs rolling through downtown Livingston.
