Deputies Apprehend Felon at Local Pawn Shop, LIVINGSTON, April 22, 2008 - At approximately 5:45 on April 22, 2008, Polk County Sheriff's Deputies apprehended a felon at Cash America Pawn in Livingston. Edward Simons was wanted and had a felony warrant out for his arrest for burglary of a building. Simons had a gun in pawn and when he came back to get his gun out of pawn, the employees, by law, went through the proper channels of notification. This alerted local authorities to Simons' whereabouts. Three deputy patrol units pulled into Cash America Pawn and was able to apprehend Simons without incident. The three deputies were Terry Mayer, Glen Edwards, and Billy Duke. Simons was booked into jail at the Polk County Sheriff's Department.
