24 year old Santiago Solis, of Mission was arrested on drug charges.
Dude, You're Going to Jail, NEW WILLARD, March 28, 2021 - Shortly before 5 pm on March 28, 2021, multiple reports came in to the Polk County Sheriff's Office of a reckless driver that was north-bound on US-59. The suspect entered Polk County via the Trinity River Bridge from San Jacinto County. Trooper Allen Stanton with the Texas Highway Patrol pulled the vehicle over south of Leggett. The vehicle, a 2017 GMC Acadia, driven by Santiago Solis, 24, of Mission, pulled to the right shoulder. Solis was acting strange which aroused Trooper Stanton's suspicion. Solis gave consent for a vehicle search. Solis was found to be in possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Solis was arrested and booked into Polk County Jail. His vehicle was towed by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
Solis was driving this 2017 GMC Acadia recklessly. Multiple call ins were placed to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
