Tammy Ann Wise of Onalaska crashed her Chevy 1500 into a bridge column.
Intoxicated Driver Slams Into Overpass Column, LIVINGSTON, December 27, 2012 - Shortly before 8 pm on December 27, 2012, a gray, older model GMC 1500 driven by Tammy Ann Wise, 48, of Onalaska slammed into a bridge column under the US-59 overpass at Church Street (US--190).  Wise managed to escape injury.  Sergeant Darrell Newman, and officers Dallas Early and Kaleb Barker (all with Livingston PD) were dispatched to the scene.  Wise told police that she had left the Down Under club in Livingston and drove down the back roads to the US-59 feeder.  Wise stated that she attempted a left turn from the feeder onto 190 and turned into the east-bound lanes (she was traveling west).  She failed to negotiate her turn and slammed into the column.  She further stated to Livingston PD that she had consumed four beers and several kamikazee drinks.  Wise refused a field sobriety test and instead requested to be arrested.  Tammy Wise was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  Wise's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker Service and will be stored in Livingston.

Special thank you:  Snookems
