2 Vehicle Accident Hospitalizes 2, Alcohol Suspected, LIVINGSTON, December 18, 2015 - At approximately 11:30 pm on December 18, 2015, a silver 2001 Honda Odyssey, driven by Kristalynn Marie Fuqua, 26, of Livingston, was west-bound on US-190 West. As Fuqua approached the intersection of FM-350 North, a white 2010 Ford F-150, driven by Bambi Lyn Manning, 58, of Livingston, pulled out from FM-350. Fuqua's vehicle broad sided Manning's vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in the crossover between the east and west bound lanes of 190. Manning was attempting to cross over to the east-bound lanes of 190 but failed to yield to Fuqua. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant David Ramsey, Corporal Adam Norris, with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Officer Dallas Early and Sergeant Darrell Newman with the Livingston Police Department. Fuqua and her passenger, 49 year old, Sylvia Marie Parker, of Livingston were carefully removed from their vehicle and transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Manning was physically okay. Corporal Adam Norris Administered a field sobriety test on Manning. Manning performed poorly and was placed under arrest and transported to Polk County Jail and booked in for driving while intoxicated. Traffic on the west-bound side of 190 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. A rollback wrecker from Fawbush Wrecker Service recovered Fuqua's vehicle and it will be stored at Fawbush Body Shop in Goodrich, while Manning's vehicle was recovered by a rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing and will be stored at Pollock's Body Shop in Livingston.
49 year old Sylvia Marie Parker, of Livingston, was a passenger in the van and was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the van, 26 year old Kristalyn Marie Fuqua was also transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
58 year old Bambi Lyn Manning was given a field sobriety test in which she performed poorly. She couldn't walk a straight line, nor keep her balance.
Accident investigator, Dallas Early placed Manning under arrest for driving while intoxicated.
Manning's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing. Fuqua's vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service.
