29 year old Latisha Warren, of Lufkin, passed out at the wheel on FM-350 South and slammed into a utility pole.
Driver Passes Out, Takes Out Utility Pole, LIVINGSTON, December 17, 2017 - At approximately 6:15 pm on December 17, 2017, a tan 2008 Chevy Malibu, driven by Latisha Warren, 29, of Lufkin was south-bound on FM-350 South. Warren allegedly passed out at the wheel (believed to be due to a medical condition). Her vehicle left the pavement to the right and slammed into a utility pole. The impact snapped the pole in two. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Sergeant Byron Dunaway with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Ashlee White with the Texas Highway Patrol. Warren was carefully removed from her vehicle by emergency personnel and loaded into an ambulance. Warren was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. A crew from Sam Houston Electric Cooperative was dispatched to replace the destroyed utility pole. At time of press, no citations have been issued, however, the accident remains under investigation. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Warren's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

The utility pole was snapped into 2 pieces, however, the wires held the pole up.
Warren was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Trooper Ashlee White is the primary accident investigator.
A crew from Sam Houston Electric Cooperative was dispatched to replace the destroyed utility pole.
