24 year old Meagan Garner, of Livingston, rolled her 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe near Little Britches Daycare off US-146.
Driver Rolls Vehicle, Flown to Houston, LIVINGSTON, December 6, 2015 - At approximately 6:45 am on December 6, 2015, a silver 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by Meagan Garner, 24, of Livingston, was north-bound on US-146 in the Livingston City Limits.  Garner fell asleep at the wheel.  Her vehicle left the pavement to the right, rolled through the grass, struck a culvert and went airborne.  Her vehicle landed nose first and cause her to roll.  Her vehicle came to rest upright in the grass.  Garner was ejected and landed in the grass in front of Little Britches Daycare.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Lee Rogers with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Officers Kevin Ward, Nita Bowen, and Scott Paske with the Livingston Police Department.  Garner was transported by Ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, and then flown by medical helicopter to Hermann Hospital in Houston.  The right lane on the north-bound side of 146 was blocked during investigation and cleanup.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Garner's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
