A PHi Air Medical Helicopter prepares to land in a field adjacent to Matthews Park in Livingston.
Victim Flown Out from Golfing Accident, LIVINGSTON, December 2, 2010 - At around 12:30 pm on December 2, 2010, Oliver Denyer of Point Blank was standing on a slope on the Golf Course by Matthews Park in Livingston, when in a freak accident he was struck by a golf cart driven by Edward York of Onalaska.  According to the Livingston Police Department, neither Denyer nor York saw each other when the golf card was driving down the slope and struck Denyer.  Denyer allegedly fell into the windshield while his feet were planted on the ground.  The golf cart continued forward and Denyer was basically sucked under the cart and got run over.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department and Officers from the Livingston Police Department.  PHi Air Medical was summoned Denyer (an elderly gentleman) was loaded and flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston with serious injuries.
