Erica Acevedo's 1999 Honda Accord rolled into a storm drainage ditch in front of Raceway gas station.
Failure to Yield Causes Collision (again), LIVINGSTON, November 27, 2011 - At approximately 9:10 am on November 27, 2011, Erica Acevedo, 21, of Livingston, was east-bound on US-190 East in her white 1999 Honda Accord when she suddenly slammed into a green 2003 Chevy pickup driven by Britannie Quinn, 27, of Livingston.  Quinn had attempted to cross over 190 from the parking lot at Wal-Mart but failed to yield to Acevedo.  The vehicles collided.  Acevedo's vehicle rolled into the drainage area in front of Raceway gas station while Quinn pulled her vehicle into the Parking lot of Raceway. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officers from the Livingston Police Department including Sergeant Ronnie Bogany and Officer Kevin Ward.  Erica Acevedo was treated at the scene and loaded into an ambulance and taken by Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Quinn was physically okay.  According to Sergeant Bogany, Quinn was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while Acevedo was cited for no driver's license.  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered both vehicles and they will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.  The scene was cleared shortly after 10 am.
