Major Accident, 1 Flown in Critical Condition, INDIAN SPRINGS, November 25, 2017 - At approximately 3 pm on November 25, 2017, a brown 2014 Chevy Silverado, driven by Patrick Wayne Flowers, 47, of Livingston, was east-bound on US-190 East. Flowers' vehicle suddenly T-boned a silver 2001 Chevy Cavalier, driven by Sabrina Watson, 20, of Livingston. Watson pulled off of Pichetto Trail onto 190 but failed to yield to Flowers. Both vehicles came to rest facing north in the west-bound lane of 190. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Indian Springs and Livingston Volunteer Fire Departments, Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Kevin Burman, Nick Hatton, and John Allen. Game Warden David Johnson was nearby and rushed to the scene to help. Watson was trapped in her vehicle. Volunteer firemen cut the roof off of her car and carefully moved her to a gurney. Watson was loaded into an ambulance and prepped for flight. A PHi Air Medical Helicopter landed on 190 and transported Watson to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition. Flowers was physically okay. All traffic on 190 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Flowers' vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston. Watson's vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service and will be stored in Goodrich. This accident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol. Citations for Watson are likely coming.
