2 Vehicle Accident Hospitalizes 2, PUTNAM'S LANDING, November 24, 2017 - At approximately 3:12 pm on November 24, 2017, a silver 2008 Chevy Trailblazer, driven by Donna Carole Myers, 50, of Livingston, was sitting at the stop sign at the entrance of Putnam's Landing at FM-3126. Myers pulled onto 3126 but failed to yield to a west-bound Gray 2008 Chevy Equinox, driven by Fernando Briseno, 56, of Livingston. The vehicles collided. Both vehicles came to rest on FM-3126. Americare and Texan EMS Ambulance Services were dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Terri Mayer and Corporal Mark Dubose with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper John Allen with the Texas Highway Patrol. Briseno's passenger was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Myers was also transported by Ambulance to CHI complaining of dizziness. Traffic on 3126 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Myers was cited for failure to yield. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Briseno's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Myers' vehicle was driven by a friend from the scene.

50 year old Donna Carole Myers, of Livingston, was driving this 2008 Chevy Trailblazer when she pulled out from Putnam's Landing onto FM-3126 and failed to yield to a west-bound vehicle.
56 year old Fernando Briseno, of Livingston was driving this 2008 Chevy Equinox. Briseno's vehicle slammed into Myers' vehicle.
Briseno's female passenger was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Briseno's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
