22 year old Heather Denea Cater, of Goodrich, crashed this 2001 GMC Yukon off FM-2665 at Copeland Creek.
Vehicle Slams Into Tree, 1 Hospitalized, GOODRICH, November 24, 2017 - At approximately 2:05 pm on November 24, 2017, a tan 2001 GMC Yukon, driven by Heather Denea Cater, 22, of Goodrich, was east-bound on FM-2665 (just west of Copeland Creek). Cater's vehicle left the pavement to the right. She over corrected back left, left the pavement to the left, rolled down an embankment and slammed (passenger's front side) into a tree, then spun around facing south. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Holiday Lake Estates Volunteer Fire Department, and Trooper Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol. Cater was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on 2665 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. This accident remains under investigation, however, Cater is likely facing a citation for no seatbelt. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Cater's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
