Driver Rolls Vehicle, Facing Felony DWI, SWARTWOUT, November 19, 2016 - Shortly before 3 pm on November 19, 2016, a brown Ford Explorer, driven by Javier Lobo Gonzalez, Jr., 39, of New Caney was east-bound on FM-1988 West.  Gonzalez's vehicle left the pavement to the left and rolled.  His vehicle came to rest upside down in the grass.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Jacob Chapman with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Darwon Evans and Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Gonzalez was checked by EMS personnel and determined to be physically okay.  Trooper Darwon Evans conducted a field sobriety test on Gonzalez and placed him under arrest for felony driving while intoxicated (Gonzalez's 3rd or more).  A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Gonzalez's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.

39 year old Javier Lobo Gonzalez, Jr., of New Caney rolled this Ford Explorer off FM-1988 West near FM-3278.
Gonzalez could not walk a straight line.
Trooper Evans placed Gonzalez under arrest for felony driving while intoxicated (3rd or more).
Gonzalez's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
