Five Teens Hospitalized (one flown to Houston) After Rolling Vehicle, LEGGETT, November 12, 2011 - At approximately 11:15 pm on November 11, 2011, a tan 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Pleh Reh, 19, of Houston, was north-bound on US-59 just north of Leggett. For some reason, Reh's vehicle left the road to the right by the rest area, jumped a large culvert and rolled three times. Reh, and all 4 of his passengers sustained injuries during the multiple rollover. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers David Flowers, Rocky Thigpen, Kevin Burman, and Darwon Evans (all with the Texas Highway Patrol). Reh and three of the occupants were transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries, a fifth passenger, You Len, was flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston with serious injuries. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. According to Trooper Flowers, Pleh Reh will be cited for unsafe speed. A rollback wrecker from Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan recovered Reh's vehicle and it will be stored in Corrigan. The scene was cleared by 12:30 am.
