Lisa Smallwood, 48, of Point Blank
Driver Crashes Car, Charged with Felony DWI, ONALASKA, October 28, 2019 - At approximately 1:45 pm on October 28, 2019, an older model green Honda sedan, driven by Lisa Smallwood, 48, of Point Blank, was west-bound on US-190 West.  Shortly after Smallwood entered the Big Bridge (that crosses into San Jacinto County), her vehicle veered left, through the east-bound lane and impacted the guardrail, causing her small car to wedge under the railing.  Officers Brittney George and Captain Lee Parrish with the Onalaska Police Department were dispatched to the scene along with the Onalaska Volunteer Fire Department.  Smallwood was not injured.  She did, however, appear to be intoxicated.  Smallwood was allegedly inhaling compressed air keyboard cleaner for intoxication.  Smallwood was charged with felony driving while intoxicated (this is her 3rd or more DWI which is a felony).  Smallwood was booked into Polk County Jail.  Her vehicle was recovered by George White & Sons Wrecker Service and will be stored in Onalaska.
