Woman Hospitalized in Accident, LIVINGSTON, October 28, 2009 - At approximately 7:32 pm on October 28, 2009, a gray 2008 Toyota 4 Runner driven by Johan Van Lieshout, 49, of Livingston was exiting the Wal-Mart Parking lot on 190 West next door to Taco Bell. Van Lieshout pulled directly into the path of a west-bound oncoming maroon 1990 Chevy Camaro driven by Michelle Camacho of Livingston. The front of Camacho's vehicle slammed in the front half driver's side of Van Lieshout's vehicle. Both vehicles came to rest in the center of the turning median on US-190. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Livingston Police Officers Kevin Ward and Darrell Newman. Camacho's airbag deployed. Camacho was carefully removed from her vehicle by EMS personnel and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries. The left lane of traffic on the west-bound side of 190 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Van Lieshout was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of-way and Camacho was issued citations for no headlights on after dark and no insurance. A rollback wrecker from Fawbush Wrecker Service recovered Camacho's vehicle and it will be stored at Fawbush Body Shop in Livingston. Van Lieshout's vehicle was drivable and driven from the scene. The scene was cleared by 8 pm.
