For some reason, the driver left the pavement to the left and drove into a barbed wire fence (just south of FM-3126/1988 intersection). Her vehicle slid to a stop facing towards the road. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Keegan Neuman and Corporal Tobias Martinez with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Damon Zarrati with the Texas Highway Patrol. The driver, Rylea Reed, 21, of Lufkin, was treated inside an ambulance and then transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Reed is likely facing a citation for the accident. Her vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker out of Livingston.
