35 year old Luis Pacajoj, of Coldspring, was driving this 1997 Honda Accord north on 146 and slammed another vehicle from behind.
Driver Rear Ends Vehicle, Arrested for DWI, LIVINGSTON, October 25, 2020 - At approximately 9:35 pm on October 25, 2020, a green 1997 Honda Accord, driven by Luis Pacajoj, 35, of Coldspring, was north-bound on US-146. Pacajoj slammed into a north-bound pickup in front of him from behind (the pickup waspulling a trailer with a tractor) . Both vehicles came to a stop (in front of Little Beaver). Pacajoj got out of his vehicle, as did the driver of the pickup. Pacajoj tried to run away, but the driver of the pickup (who is also a volunteer fireman) tackled Pacajoj and held him until Livingston Police arrived. Additionally, a deputy from the Polk County Sheriff's Office came to assist along with local State Troopers. Officer Jared Zolman, with Livingston Police Department administered a field sobriety test and placed Pacajoj under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Pacajoj's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
Pacajoj slammed into this trailer that was being pulled by a pickup.
Cold Dos X beer was found in Pacajoj's vehicle.
Officer Jared Zolman, with Livingston Police Department, administered a field sobriety test on Pacajoj.
Pacajoj was placed under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated.
