Truck Strikes Pedestrian, BLANCHARD, October 24, 2025 - The information on the auto/pedestrian accident that occurred on FM-3126 at Mangum Road has been released. At approximately 1:02 pm on October 23, 2025, a white Dodge pickup pulling a loaded trailer, driven by Lewis Anthony Reynoso, 37, of Coldspring was west-bound on FM-3126 when a female pedestrian, Lenora Barclay Crew, 67, of Livingston attempted to walk across the road. Reynoso swerved right to avoid Crew but the trailer impacted her. Crew was flown from the scene.

Pedestrian Struck by Truck, Flown from Scene, BLANCHARD, October 23, 2025 - At approximately 1:02 pm on October 23, 2025, a white Dodge Ram 3500 pickup (pulling a trailer loaded with rocks) was west-bound on FM-3126. As the driver was approaching the intersection of Mangum Road, a female pedestrian attempted to cross the road directly in front of the pickup. The driver swerved right to avoid striking the pedestrian but the trailer impacted her. The swerve sent the driver through a ditch and also took out a mailbox. He pulled out of the ditch and pulled a short distance up the road (in order to turn his truck and trailer around) and came back. The female pedestrian was laying on the pavement with serious injuries. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from The Polk County Sheriff's Office, The Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, and Corporal Ramey Bass with The Texas Highway Patrol (Trooper Bass was assisted by Sergeant Ethan McAdoo). The pedestrian (names not yet released) was transported by ambulance to a landing zone set up on nearby FM-2457 and flown from the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured, and the pickup was driven from the scene. We will update this story as soon as the names are released. This accident remains under investigation by The Texas Highway Patrol.
