A 33 year old Scenic Loop man rolled this 4 wheeler off Woodland Drive off Scenic Loop (FM-3277).
Driver Sustains Major Injuries in 4 Wheeler Accident, SCENIC LOOP, October 17, 2014 - Shortly before 11 pm on October 16, 2014, a 33 year old Scenic Loop man rolled a Kawasaki 4 wheeler on Woodland Drive in the private subdivision of Commodore Cape off Scenic Loop. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, and Deputy Adam Norris with the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The driver sustained serious head injuries and other injuries from the accident. He was treated by personnel from Americare and transported to a landing zone on FM-2457 (Next to Blanchard Baptist Church) where a PHi Air Medical Helicopter landed and flew him to Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Editor's Note:We were not able to get the victim's name due to the accident occurring in a private subdivision. If we're able to ascertain his name, we'll do an update on this story.
The accident victim is transferred to the care of PHi Air Medical.
