The cab of this 2001 Mack Truck lies mangled in lumber.
18 Wheeler Crashes On US-59, LIVINGSTON, October 14, 2010 - At approximately 11:40 am on October 14, 2010, a white 2001 Mack Truck driven by Frederic Arnell Ivory, 32, of Conroe was south-bound on US-59 near the Livingston VFW.  Ivory was pulling a load of lumber when, according to Ivory, a truck in front of him was slowed down to make a turn into Hendrix Machinery.  Ivory attempted to take evasive action and swerved left plowing into the grassy median.  The sloped median caused Ivory's load of shift and pulled over the trailer and the trailer pulled over the truck.  Ivory lost his load of lumber all over the median as his trailer came to rest upside down and his truck twisted over on its side.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with DPS Troopers David Flowers, Corporal Sam Lattner, and Donny Akers.  Ivory was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Ivory did have insurance.  A heavy duty wrecker from Williams Wrecker Service out of Goodrich was sent for to clean up the mess and story Ivory's rig in Goodrich.  No citations were issued.  At time of press (1:30 pm) the mess is still being cleared.

Special thank you:  Ken from Ken's Towing
