50 year old Dawn Crittellie, of Livingston, was transported to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
Motorcycle Strikes SUV, 1 Hospitalized, SODA, October 11, 2017 - At approximately 5:35 pm on October 11, 2017, a black 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Dawn Crittellie, 50, of Livingston, was south-bound on Tom Cummings Road and came to a stop sign at Tom Cummings and US-190 East. Crittellie attempted to pull onto 190 but failed to yield to a west-bound white 2016 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Dana Jackson, 49, of Livingston. The motorcycle and Jeep collided knocking Crittellie from her motorcycle. The Jeep pulled to the right shoulder. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Victor White with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Ashlee McBride, John Allen, and Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol. Crittellie was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Jackson was uninjured. Traffic on 190 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Crittellie's motorcycle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Jackson's vehicle was driven from the scene.
